I assume that means my post was a waste of time.

    Good luck with your dogs.

I tried... just have a think about breeding mixed breeds, as I said, there is no average hip score for mixes.

It sounds like you really are doing the right thing mummyof2, being a purebred girl though I just can't wrap my head around people breeding mixed breeds. Owning them, fine, just not breeding. To each their own, I see nothing will change your mind about it.

Some bitches will give no signs at all and just drop a puppy on the floor, others will start nesting or become restless. it really depends on the individual dog.
I have had a Great Dane give birth in the bed with me and she looked nowhere near going into labor. Others had very obvious signs.

So just a question, if you spent that much money on them, would you be willing to get a prefix and become a registered breeder?

You can't get a prefix, nor become a registered breeder of mixed breeds. Only purebreds

thank you crested love that was all i was after =] and no after owning 3 pure's which turned into savage dogs and were ment to be very healthy and all dying of either cancer or pancreas poisoning i much prefer my cross breed dogs not that im saying pure's are wrong they are not but each to their own i have never had a problem with my X's

Mumof, I had an oops litter last october. My bitch did not show any signs, discharge and just lay down when she was ready and out they came. I was watching her intently and my first indication was watching her "hook" I managed to get to her just as the first popped out.
