Oh they are so gorgeous MAC, I especially like the tan one in the middle with the white splodge by his/her tail - so cute.

Oh my, they are cute - hmmm I'm tempted to ask if I can come for a visit, but then I might be TOOOOOO tempted once I have a little furry bundle in my arms!

Well... can report that the puppies have now been assessed by a very experienced whippet breeder and my top two choices were confirmed - Moo the Blue/Fawn Girl and Star, one of the Red/Fawn girls that you can't quite see in the photo.

What Moo and Star had over the others was the ability to "stand over a lot of ground", an important factor in the whippet standard, and the boys tail set was not just quite right. Such a minor thing, but nonetheless that's how it is. But all in all a good looking litter, nice colour, exceptional faces and ears that are already turning rose.

They all passed their vet checks, no heart murmurs (whew, would of PTS any that did so was almost feeling sick until they had all been checked). Sounds harsh I know, but I cannot willingly sell a puppy with a defect.

They got the needles and microchips inserted and still came home and had a play and wanted tea, which is a good sign, some puppies can be a bit off after their 6wks needle etc.

A big thank you to Cate for putting the photo up, her support and looking at all my photo's via email and oooing and arhing at all the right times. Much appreciated, you don't know how much this kept me positive until I could have them assessed.
