I found a bit of stuff on the web about lure coursing.

I've tried it with Frosty and the mostly dead mice I've been catching but she doesn't really get the "kill it dead" bit. She will happily kill an old (or new) football or piece of rope dead but not a mouse. Sigh. I will have to invite the local border terriers to visit.

I know it's frustrating for you, but the dark side of me is enjoying reading your descriptions of the more brainless of the wanna-be-owners' enquires, so do feel free to vent some more here...

Lol, I know the feeling, reading about others' trials and tribulations makes me feel better that I'm not the only one that has to deal with idiots.

Years ago I had someone wanting to adopt a dog, he was away from home mimimum 10 hours 5 days a week, lived in an apartment with carpet....yep, his main concern was that the dog didn't mess on the carpet. I tried and tried to get through to him that there were no guarantees even if he took the dog for a long walk in the morning to empty itself, suggested he would have to put the work in to train it to go on puppy pads, he didn't have the time.Obviously I wasn't about to adopt a dog to him, but I also wanted him to realise he was being unrealistic. FINALLY, I asked him if he used the bathroom when he went to work, he said yes, so I then asked him if he could "hold" himself all day, not relieving himself until he got home. He looked at me like I was mad! Of course not he said. My reply " So why are you expecting a dog to do better than YOU can?" *DING* the light went on! At least he walked away understanding he did have unrealistic expectations, he ended up coming back on weekends to walk the dogs to get his doggy fix!

    Love it Grey.

I think I've just had an influx of the idiot factor call in the last few days. I'm hoping the opposite will be the next to call.

I must also admit to having a LFWT.
