    just my 2 cents

i like the way they are with his doughter in the videos i mean at least they dont look like he fights them or any thing.
ps they are very big dogs and some people like em that way.

im not saing im a massive fan off how many puppys they are and all that but they are good looking dogs(in that way i mean they look healthy they dont look like they are just on a chain the hole day.)

They are amstaffs and specialise in the big ones, brothers in arms are bloodstone amstaffs, with the whole 42kg tall boys going on.

    Different strokes for different folks.

I think good on theo hes dogs are exactly what we should be aiming to breed if it wasnt for him we would be stuck with undesirable dogs that are more like greyhounds il be buying a dog off him very soon. Anyone that disagrees that's your op-ion but im allays open to take one of my over sized to much muscle amstafs to the beach with a skinny show dog and see what the public thinks:O
I think I would like to reply to this, but im not quite understanding it.
Could you be a bit clearer?
Are you saying you don't like the Amstaffs breed standard?

40kgs! German Shepherds can weight up to 40kgs!
I don't think thats a 'normal' weight for an Amstaff.

    I think we need photos

We have two: male 13 months and female 6 months.

From speaking to different breeders and reading the Aust Standard, they should be around the 30kg depending on height obviously which should be around 18-19 inches at the shoulders.

Our boy is roughly 20 inches (so a little tall) and weighs about 32kg. At the moment she is obviously still growing and about 4 inches shorter than him and weighs about 19kg.

She looks slender compared to him but she has still to grow, he is a far cry from looking like a greyhound, far to broad to even be remotely similar, not to mention the short legs in comparison, LOL!

If you don't like the breed standard of Amstaffs and you think they look like greyhounds, why not find another breed as opposed to breed outside the standard?

No one is implying that the 'larger' amstaff you own would do anything bad for the breed, except not be show quality as it doesn't fit standard, but I just don't understand why you want to breed the dog to be different to what it already is? If the breed doesn't suit you or you don't like it, find something you do like! Changing it doesn't make sense, there are enough breeds of dogs about to find one you DO LIKE.

I never actually checked out their website thoroughly, and am only just seeing this...

"It is possible for Andonas Kennels to hold on to your puppy beyond the agreed upon release date. Each week will incur a fee of $100 and the customer is responsible for all Vet costs after the release date. Andonas Kennels prefers not to keep the puppies longer than 8 weeks as it is best for the new owner to begin the bonding process with the pup."

    WHAAAAAT!?
$100 a week to hold onto the puppy you just spent a ridiculous over priced amount on?

The whole website is a joke. I would never ever ever buy from this puppy mill.
They sell pictures burnt into wood for $200+ ffs!
