how is it better than BYB? He doesnt do any health testing? To me personally I think it is pretty well the same as BYB!

There are plenty of breeders in this country who breed quality Amstaffs. They know and understand the breed standard, they health test the parents and they are out there in the show ring, doing agility and obedience.
This is NOT one of them.

If I owned one of his dogs, i would be getting a DNA test done then reporting them to DOGS NSW (Or whoever they are with)

And how is breeding with a bulldog a good thing? They have so many health issues - how can health problems better a breed?

No one knows how accurate DNA tests are so I wouldn't bother getting one done. I would if Blue looked very different, but she does look like an Amstaff.

I agree that breeding with a bulldog would be a stupid thing to do.

DNA tests are no good at telling what breeds your cross breed is made up from. [Believe me, we had Chopper tested! ] However, if you have a papered purebred dog, the results should prove it conclusively.

So they are good at testing purebreds but not crossbreeds, seems silly as most people with crossbreeds would want to know what dog they have.

How do I get the DNA test?

    Here

    About BITSA

Don't tell them ANYTHING about your dog beforehand. No photo, no breed, no name, nothing. Don't give them any clues!

If a breeder uses two studs in a mating they have to DNA test the litter to make sure they put the correct sire on each pup's papers. I'm sure there's other reasons to test a purebred, but that's all I know off hand.
