I just didn't know whether Blue was a pure Amstaff after reading some things said about Andonas Kennels. I still am not sure, am learning but it is all a bit confusing for my brain to take

omg those dogs are freaken huge & the poor bugga's look like they are over ripped up, & IMO they look more like an "tough image" type dog

IMO the dogs send out a "fighting dog" image & that's not doing the AMStaff breed any favours at all

knowing what I know now about him I probably wouldn't have bought Blue from there. A lot of the dogs look in such great condition, agreed some of them are OTT tho.

Your dogs not an american bullie if thats what you are thinking, Blue is amstaff from registered amstaffs. if you have his papers.

Theo isnt about to **** up years of business by doing a dodgy half breeding. He favours them big, breeds them big, **** he even looks like one of his dogs end of story.

Hi all, Andonas dogs actually have bulldog(english Bulldog) mixed in, some of these amstaff pit breeders, breed in the bulldog and pick out the pups with the staffy head and bulldoggy body which is what gives them this intimadating look ( and breed on from there with this style of dog), and thats why they do it for the look many breeders have been doing it for years( but you dont need to keep crossing, the once usually does they keep that look from there on) to make there dog look better(tougher) were in actual fact the dogs are less capable then slighter in build pitbull or even the american staffordshire (amstaff) and would not be as tough or fight as well" not that fighting is condoned but remebering that this was the purpose for the creation of this dog (originally). So these days people dont fight dogs they just want the tough look, so this is were they sneak the bulldog in, even though they are papered there is no way to monitor this..yes at the end of the day papers dont mean much if somebody wants to minipulate the system which many amstaff breeders do. A prime example of this is when the odd pup is born without a tail, which comes from the bulldog, Go on ask Andonas if any of his pups are born without tails, (previding he hasnt read this I know what his answer will be) and if you ask a propar (genuine, honest) amstaff breeder if this happens they would say no ( previding there line hasnt been tampered with too,you can tell usaully by looking at the dog if it is slighter its probably an original) you can tell real amstaff as they dont look like amstaffs with a bulldog body, they have more of an agile body , leaner, which in the fighting days works better they are much more agile' (could you imagine a bulldog rounding up like a kelpie running over there backs? and running all day, well dogs need much stamina for fighting(kelpies often run 100km's a day working,( kelpies could not do this if they look like a bulldog)), other words if these 2 dogs faced off, bulldog amstaff v original amstaff the tougher looking one (the bulldoggy one) wouldnt really stand a chance even though by looking at the 2 of the different dogs you would think the opposite, there is a new york dog fighting show on austar were they go around saving dogs from fighting, if you see this show take note of the dogs there are wirey ,dont look that tough compared to andonas but they are true fighting dogs, now keep in mind this is what the american staffy was created for originally! And to answer if they are ambull?,, well no ambull is the american bulldog (type in to google to see) which look nothing a like, what your probably thinking is american bully which is a seperate breed altogether, they are similar to andonas in the way they have the bulldoggy look probably more obvious though as they are not trying to hide it!, but these people have just gone the propar route and announced a new breed by admitting the bulldog merge to get a nice mix of a tough looking dog, if this is what you appreciate in a dog!.Merging with the bulldog is always good, as the bulldog has an excellent attitude with people and have never been recoded biting someone, as it is the oppisite with the pit and amstaff, it makes a good mix

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for the info. I got my Blue from Andonas Kennels & she has a stumpy tail (birth defect), it is a little zig zaggy lol, I think it is cute. But she is very lean & her body is great, it doesn't look like an English Bulldog's body at all.
