    Hello,
i have only joined this forum but i got my boy from Andonas 5 1/2 years ago and he is the most placid well behaved dog, i have papers for him and all registered as american staffy.. His father is not an Andonas male he is a male from another breeder i can not think of the top of my head at the moment started with a k in vic, he was a pure Blue boy, but his mother was an andonas bitch but she is not featured on the website.

I must say Andonas was no where near as big as he is now when i got my boy so i can not comment on how things are done now, but i have heard very simmilar worries from others.

i would like to think he isnt mixing breeds. He does breed for strength which im not sure if i agree with.

but there are good pups that come oout of there.

unless anyone have proof that the guy xbreeds they shouldn't say he does as its pretty much slandering hes name and n84 its sounds like you are happy with your dog its sounds like most ppl are happy with what that get from him.

It not just that he might possibly be breeding crossbreeds.
Its that he has a huge amount of dogs on his property. When done properly, breeding is a very expensive occupation/hobby.
The average health test per dog is $430 for example and he wouldn't have time to take them all to shows to earn titles

All in all, what we're saying, is by the looks of his wesbite, he doesn't health test, and he is out for the big bucks.

If getting registered with the ANKC, designing a website and putting one and two together and making a ridiculous amount if money is breeding, then hell, im getting started! Why don't we all start dog breeding!???

amstaf lover, im going to have to ask your to stop deleting posts or you will recieve an infraction.

All these health tests are done to test for genetic issues. So doing the test now will no longer have any benefit, if your dog has a problem, then its there. And its better to save your money until the dog might need expensive surgery.

Ok there are nuuuuumerous tests needed to be done. I started a list off memory, but there are way to many.
I found this page from one of our members "Staffwild" website when doing a google search. They have a complete list. I hope they don't mind me posting it.

Im glad you're asking questions and educating yourself!

Its up to the buyer to find the best possible breeder that does do these health tests

thanks id prefer to learn now then learn the hard way later as i love my dogs and wouldn't want to see them go through any unnecessary pain and anguish i can get them hip scored and elbow tested at any age though cant i.One of my biggest problems is ears flopping not a bad health issue but it is a pain ive tryed everything.
