    Default Babies Very Active

The heat is really knocking mum-to-be about and her stomach looks like something from an Alien movie at the moment with lots of movement.

I keep telling her to keep her legs crossed - another 5 days would be nice it's too early yet.

The A/c keeps shutting down and we are on our second mother board for the stupid thing....Grrrr.

We don't have a video camera.

I am thinking of borrowing one though. Our camera has a 15 second movie option on it, not much but it may have to do.

My husband works on computers etc all day so he doesn't want to look at anything remotely electronic by the end of the day and I must admit I've kind of shut my mind off to them all.

As for the A/c what a time for it to break down. Poor repair guy is run off his feet, but is putting us ahead of others because he thought Kelsey was just adorable - she put on her best sooky, doe-eyed, pathetic face and he fell for it.

But he said it's not looking good. Major repairs needed.

My air con broke down a few summers ago when it reached 50 degrees. I just spent all day at my friends.
I feel for you, especially since you have dogs.

I adapted the old coolgardi safe idea to keep my kids cool when mine broke down when they were young. Mum may get some comfort. I upended a table, draped the legs with wet towels, blankets with a fan on them.

my air con broke down last summer and during the interim I was putting my bed sheets and pillow cases in zip lock bags and putting them in the freezer for an hour or two before bed time. You could possibly do this for your mum-to-be and your family?

Also pedestal fans with a simple spray bottle of water works good
